More than 60 species of flora adorn our Garden City campus.

Special berry bushes, lavish rose gardens, and trees such as Golden Cyprus and California Redwood dating back to the early part of the twentieth century are among the 60 species of trees and shrubs that adorn the Adelphi campus.

The 75-acre Adelphi Garden City campus became a registered member of the American Association of Botanical Gardens and Arboreta in May of 2002.

Adelphi is a truly green campus, using only 100% natural, organic techniques to maintain the flora. To learn more about how the University is in the forefront of developing programs and policies that will ensure an environmentally friendly and fuel efficient environment at our AU Goes Green site.
